- My curiosity in the inspirational power of homeopathy was sparked when my son was a toddler. At the time he was having recurrent ear infections and painful toothache. I took him to see a homeopath who prescribed the remedy 'pulsatilla' for him. Within a few days he was feeling better, had more energy and the sparkle in his eye that he had lost months earlier had rekindled. He has used homeopathy ever since [and you can see a picture of him on his gap year on the 'contact' page!]
- I wondered what those two little pills were and how they worked. I started to read and the excitement I got reading about homeopathy prompted me to explore further and eventually to embark on professional training. That was in 1993 and I still carry the wonder of homeopathy with me - it really is a remarkable medicine.
- I qualified as a homeopath in 1997, after completing a four-year training at the School of Homeopathy. Then alongside setting up my practice, I went on to the Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies, where in the year 2000, I was awarded the title of PCH [Practitioner of Classical Homeopathy]. Since then I have followed Rajan Sankaran's 18 month course entitled 'Wednesdays with Rajan' to learn more about his 'Sensation Method' approach to homeopathy.
- My professional development continues to be ongoing and I regularly attend homeopathic conferences and seminars.
- I am a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths [RSHom] and work in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Practice
- In my practice I am supported by a group of local homeopaths – Madhu Anhes, Sue Brooks, Penny Stirling and Steph Woolley. We meet regularly and provide holiday cover for each other.
